Since November 4th, 2024, the first contingent of 25 soldiers from the Haitian Armed Forces (FAd'H) has been in training in Martinique with the 33rd Marine Infantry Regiment (RIMa).
During two weeks of intensive training, Haitian soldiers benefit from theoretical and practical instruction in all phases of combat: training of the French FAMAS assault rifle and mastery of individual weaponry, open-zone combat, shooting, obstacle courses, etc...
This training is part of an operational military partnership between France and Haiti and aims to promote the restoration of security and stability in Haiti
