Cuban hospital in Croix des Bouquets, Haiti
The autumn, 2010 bulletin of the Canadian Network on Cuba (CNC) reports extensively on the campaign in Canada to raise funds for Cuba's medical mission in Haiti. According to the bulletin, close to $150,000 has been raised. The bulletin is 20 pages long; much of this issue is devoted to Cuba's medical mission in Haiti.
In March, 2011, a Cuban doctor serving in Haiti will make a speaking tour across Canada, accompanied by a representative of the Cuban Institute for Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP). The tour is organized by the CNC. More details will be posted to this website.
