A source within the Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training confirmed to Juno7 the kidnapping of Ecclesiastes Telemachus on Friday in Delmas 31.
The chief of staff of the Minister of National Education and Vocational Training (MENFP), Ecclésiaste Télémaque, was kidnapped this Friday, July 24, 2026 in Delmas 31, according to a source within the ministry contacted by Juno7.
"The criminals kidnapped the director in Delmas 31. That's all I can confirm," said the source, without providing further details on the circumstances of the incident.
At this stage, the Haitian National Police (PNH) has not yet officially commented on the kidnapping. The circumstances surrounding the events and any demands made by the kidnappers are unknown.
