Recently, Bett Lamy was questioned by the Direction centrale de La Police Judiciaire (DCPJ) following an accident with her private plane, the Sarah Express Airways, which crashed on October 3, 2024. The flight, which did not have the authorization of l'Office National de l'Aviation Civile (OFNAC), was carrying human organs and a cargo of eels, which aroused suspicion.
The accident cost the lives of the two pilots: Hantz Blaise, a Haitian, and Guy Emmanuel Saint-Amour, an American. After the incident, it was reported that the sensitive cargo was removed from the crash site, before the arrival of authorities.
Betty Lamy seems to enjoy some protection because of her ties to former Senator Moise Jean-Charles, who remains close to circles of power. This proximity has hampered investigations and delayed judicial authorities, raising questions about their complicity.
