The President of the Presidential Transitional Council of Haiti, Anthony Franck Laurent Saint-Cyr , arrived this Saturday in Doha to participate in the Second World Summit on Social Development (WSSD2) , organized by the State of Qatar from November 4 to 6, 2025 .
Upon his arrival at Hamad International Airport, the head of the Haitian Presidential Council and his accompanying delegation were greeted by Ibrahim bin Yousif Fakhro, Director of Protocol at the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and by Jean-Marie François Junior Guillaume , Haiti's Ambassador to the State of Qatar.
Saint-Cyr is attempting to strengthen diplomatic ties and economic cooperation between Haiti and Qatar, as Port-au-Prince seeks to mobilize new regional partnerships to support the political transition and ongoing social programs.
