New united front of Civil Society Groups led by Young People in Haiti

To denounce maneuvers in the establishment of the CEP and also to issue a warning to the CPT.
Since the recent popular mobilizations that led to the departure of former de facto Prime Minister Ariel Henry, we have witnessed the indifference of the new authorities in place in the face of the suffering of the population, exacerbated by unbridled acts of murder, the burning of their homes, the theft of their assets and the incessant rape of women and girls in communities controlled by armed criminals.
This catastrophe in which our country finds itself is the result not only of our leaders' contempt for the Haitian people languishing in the most abject misery, but also of the mismanagement of electoral processes that fundamentally engender serious crises.
To this end, we denounce all maneuvers aimed at sidelining the most representative sectors of society, including youth, in the setting up of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) to prepare the next elections and put an end to this long-standing transition.
We would also like to take this opportunity to issue a warning to the authorities in place, who are preparing and working to ensure the continuity of the chaos in our country, already torn apart by the wounds and transgressions of the feeling of exclusion and marginalization that the elders of politics have inflicted on young people's lives.
Finally, we recommend that the TPC withdraw its evil plan to create a CEP with sectors invented rightly and wrongly before we consider mobilizing all the social organizations of young people in the country to make our voices heard.
