The Direction de la Police informs the population that due to the professional behavior demonstrated by the police during the political crisis the country is going through, and as part of the fight against criminal gangs who relentlessly attack all state institutions and loot numerous businesses, as well as to kidnap, In recent days, the police have carried out effective operations to counter gang attacks on public infrastructures such as the Ayopò, the National Palace, the Ministry of the Interior, and other police offices in the capital.
Yesterday evening, the police repelled an attack on the Police Academy with great determination. As we all know, the police are one of the last defenses to avoid chaos.
So some politicians are using criminals as tools to attack and loot the home of the Director General, in Plaine, when it was not occupied.
These maneuvers have no other objective than to destabilize the institution of the police so that the country collapses, so that they can achieve their political objectives.
The Direction General of the police reiterates once again that the Director General, the Commandant, and all police officers remain mobilized to fight against all gangs and their acolytes who seek to sow trouble throughout the country, and to protect the population in accordance with the requirements of the Constitution.
