On Friday, November 15 the Haitian National Police in the North Department arrested Police Officer Stanley Étienne, Agent 2 of the 28th promotion. He was accused of complicity in drug trafficking by the North Detachment of the Brigade for the Fight against Drug Trafficking (BLTS).
Stanley Étienne was arrested following a report by Clive Mccoy Cameron, a drug trafficker arrested on November 11, 2024 for drug trafficking and illegal possession of a firearm.
According to preliminary information, Cameron said that Police Officer Étienne received bribes and allowed criminal acts to be carried out.
For the moment, they are both in custody pending legal proceedings.
