The web conference organized by the Institute for Justice & Democracy in Haiti (IJDH) is now available online. The conference took place on December 16, 2015.
Moderator Kem Picard, the Communications Coordinator at the IJDH, discussed the current situation in Haiti regarding the election, allegations of fraud and violence, and the daily protests for fair and free elections. The guests included Nik Barry-Shaw, author of "Paved with Good intentions" and co-author of the National Lawyers Guild and International Association of Democratic Lawyers report on the Presidential and legislative elections in Haiti in October, 2015, Jake Johnston, journalist and Research Associate at the Center for Economic and Policy Research and the lead author for CEPR’s Haiti Relief and Reconstruction Watch, and Prospere Charles, public policy analyst & Social researcher and author of the upcoming book: "Causes of poverty in Haiti, the insider look."
