The funeral of the two FAD'H agents, Elidson Trazil and Edwing Elira Trazil, was held at the Notre Dame d'Altagrace church.

On Monday morning, March 17, 2025, the funeral of two brothers, Elidson Trazil and Edwing Elira Trazil, took place at the Notre-Dame d'Altagrâce church in Delmas 44. Two soldiers of the Haitian Armed Forces (Fad'H), they were murdered at the same time in Delmas 30, on Tuesday morning, February 25.

According to their close family member, Marcelin Myrtil, whose house in Delmas 30 was set on fire by thugs pursuing the armed men of "Viv Ansamn," stated that these two soldiers were shot dead by bandits in the pay of the government.

Some political observers wonder, why then did this double murder not make the headlines? Even the funeral was not covered by some of the country's major media outlets. Why do they want they seem to want to keep these murders a secret? What are they trying to cover up?

These two brothers were not killed in combat or in a military operation. If they were involved in an operation, they could not have been alone. But if there were other soldiers involved, what happened to them? What story did these soldiers tell?

Media coverage of these murders is absurd. They all preferred to omit the testimony of an eyewitness who was close to the victim in order to sell a narrative that accommodates their leader or their clients. Their goal was to defend the government while avoiding calling attention to their alleged role in the murders. No investigation has been conducted because the false narrative the media tells is welcomed by the current regime and by a society that blindly allows itself to be drawn into fake news.

The two Fad'H soldier were executed while they were at Marcelin Myrtil's home. They were protecting him because of the threats he had received.

It is remarkable how little coverage their murders have received. Even the TPC paid no official tribute to these two victims. The only exception was the presence of Presidential Advisor Edgard Leblanc Fils, surrounded by several senior Fad'H officers and military personnel. Other citizens, parents, and families of the two victim brothers were also present at the funeral ceremony.

Other members of the government, including Prime Minister Alix Didier Aimé Fils, were conspicuously absent. The only official government statement came from the Minister of Justice and Public Security, Patrick Pélissier.

A vague statement was published by the Minsters office to obfuscate the case:

"These valiant law enforcement officers lost their lives during the latest courageous operations to uproot the armed gangs terrorizing our nation. Fallen as heroes, they demonstrated exemplary commitment to restoring order, defending peace, and protecting the Haitian people against the forces of violence and anarchy.

In these moments of sorrow, I wish, on my own behalf and on behalf of the entire institution, to express my most sincere condolences to the bereaved families, the loved ones of the victims, their colleagues, and the entire Haitian nation, shaken by these inestimable losses. The Nation mourns today its heroes, who fell bravely fulfilling their sacred duty to protect and serve.

Faced with this cowardly and unacceptable act, the Minister of Justice firmly affirms that he will stop at nothing. In close collaboration with the other members of the Government led by Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils Aimé and under the leadership of the Transitional Presidential Council, all necessary measures will be taken to restore order and guarantee the security of citizens. The Haitian National Police (PNH), in coordination with the Multinational Security Support Mission, will be responsible for leading, with determination and efficiency, operations aimed at dismantling criminal networks and ensuring that fear finally changes sides. It is imperative to put an end to this spiral of senseless violence and never again lose our valiant officers who embody courage, dedication, and the spirit of sacrifice.

In this time of trial, the Ministry renews its unwavering commitment to law enforcement and reaffirms its determination to establish a climate of peace and justice for all Haitians.

It is absurd that Haitian society has ignored this heinous murder considering the eyewitness testimony. Unlike the alleged murder of a baby that was thrown into the flames by armed groups. This case has no date or precise location, except for the statement of a young man who claims to have witnessed it.

Nonetheless, the media and the population unquestioningly accepted the narrative. Regardless of the fact that this narrative serves to reinforce the view of a particular sector of society.

It is alleged that the baby's mother, without having had time to speak to the press to provide more information about this crime, was also killed.

No one, not even the police, ever questioned the original source. Such is the reality in this country!

Yet, the funeral service of the two murdered soldiers, who service was led by the Reverend Father Audate Flaubert Joseph, were buried on the same day in the Delmas 75 cemetery.

During their burial, their fellow soldiers attempted to pay tribute to their fallen comrades, fired live ammunition at the entrance to the cemetery, killing a man attending the funeral.

These very real, undeniable facts have not received the attention given to the seemingly imaginary case of the baby thrown into a fire by bandits.
