Mexico offers equipment to the FADH

Mexico has donated personal protective equipment to the Haitian Armed Forces (FAd'H).

While the Haitian Armed Forces (FAd'H) are increasingly called upon to support the Haitian National Police (PNH) in the fight against persistent insecurity, the military corps, still in its embryonic stage according to several experts, lacks the equipment to effectively meet this obligation.

As part of its support with Haiti, the Mexican government, through the Mexican Embassy, has donated a thousand pieces of personal protective equipment to the Haitian Armed Forces (FADH).

"A thousand pieces of personal protective equipment have been donated by Mexico to the FADH," the embassy wrote in a statement.

Meanwhile, the Mexican diplomatic mission accredited to Haiti stressed that this donation demonstrates Mexico's commitment to solidarity with the Caribbean nation, which is plagued by growing insecurity.

"This donation is part of our commitment to solidarity with Haiti and our support for strengthening the country's institutions and security," the consulate wrote.

This personal protective equipment offered to the Haitian Armed Forces (Fad'H) will allow the Haitian military force to strengthen itself as it is called upon to collaborate with the Haitian National Police (PNH) and the Multinational Security Support Mission (MMS) to neutralize the bandits who terrorize the Haitian population on a daily basis.

It should also be noted that, still within the framework of military cooperation between Haiti and Mexico, 150 FAd'H soldiers left Port-au-Prince on Thursday afternoon for the North American country to undergo three months of strategic training.
