A Mansfield man has been charged with sexually abusing several children while doing missionary work in Haiti, The Advocate reports.

23-year-old Maylon Foshee is accused of sexually abusing at least three boys while he was working with the children during trips they took together, according to newly unsealed federal court documents obtained by WWL.

The allegations involve children Foshee knew through his work with Agape Ministries in Gonaives, Haiti. According to the court documents, Foshee helped children attend school and offered some of them a place to stay at his home.

The FBI began investigating Foshee after receiving a report in March 2026 that he had sexually abused children during mission trips to Haiti between 2023 and 2025.

Investigators interviewed several people in Haiti and the Dominican Republic, including three alleged victims.

According to the court documents, one boy told investigators that he had lived with Foshee because Foshee was paying for his schooling. The boy said Foshee sexually abused him while he was sleeping at Foshee's home in Gonaives. He was 14 at the time, according to the documents.

A second boy told investigators that he also stayed at Foshee's home and that Foshee paid for a year of his schooling. The boy said Foshee sexually abused him while he was sleeping the night before his 15th birthday in August 2025.

A third boy told investigators he had been living with Foshee because of problems at home with his parents. He alleged Foshee sexually abused him twice while he was staying at the home. He was 14 at the time, according to the documents.

The third boy's older brother also told investigators that Foshee had tried to engage in sexual activity with him, according to the court filing.

The FBI also reviewed travel records showing Foshee traveled between the United States and Haiti multiple times from 2023 through 2026. Investigators said the records placed him in Haiti around the times of the alleged abuse.

According to The Advocate, Foshee was charged following the allegations. He is being held at the Bossier Parish Jail.
